Fentanyl Citrate 50 mcg/mL Injection, 50 mL Single-Dose Vial

Fentanyl Citrate Injection, USP is a potent prescription opioid analgesic used as directed in anesthesia and perioperative care. This preservative-free presentation contains fentanyl 2,500 mcg in one 50 mL single-dose vial (50 mcg/mL), NDC 0641-6030-01. It is labeled for slow intravenous administration by hospital personnel specifically trained in the use of narcotic analgesics and management of potent-opioid respiratory effects. Fentanyl is a Schedule II controlled substance. Use only with oxygen, resuscitation and intubation equipment, and an opioid overdose reversal agent readily available, and follow the full prescribing information and boxed warnings concerning addiction, abuse, misuse, respiratory depression, accidental exposure, and interactions with CNS depressants. Protect from light and keep covered in the carton until use. Store at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F), with permitted excursions to 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F). Discard unused portion. Rx only.
