Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride Injection, USP 50 mg/mL - 1 mL Vial

Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride Injection, USP is an injectable antihistamine with anticholinergic and sedative effects. It is indicated in adults and pediatric patients other than premature infants and neonates for specified allergic reactions when oral therapy is impossible or contraindicated, as an adjunct to epinephrine and other standard measures in anaphylaxis after acute symptoms are controlled, for active treatment of motion sickness, and for certain uses in parkinsonism when oral therapy is impractical. Each 1 mL vial contains 50 mg diphenhydramine hydrochloride for intravenous or deep intramuscular administration, NDC 00641-0376-21. Do not use in neonates or premature infants, as a local anesthetic, or by subcutaneous administration. Protect from light and keep covered in the carton until use. Store at controlled room temperature, 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F), with permitted excursions to 15°C to 30°C. For professional use. Rx only.
