Diazepam Injection, USP 5 mg/mL - Ten 10 mL Multi-Dose Vials

Diazepam Injection, USP is a benzodiazepine for intravenous or intramuscular administration. Labeled uses include management of anxiety disorders or short-term relief of anxiety symptoms, symptomatic relief during acute alcohol withdrawal, adjunctive treatment of skeletal muscle spasm, adjunctive treatment of status epilepticus and severe recurrent convulsive seizures, and selected procedural or preoperative uses as described in the prescribing information. Each 10 mL multiple-dose vial contains 50 mg diazepam (5 mg/mL). This box contains ten vials, box NDC 00409-3213-12; the individual vial bears NDC 00409-3213-11. The formulation contains benzyl alcohol as a preservative. Diazepam is a Schedule IV controlled substance and carries serious risks of abuse, misuse, addiction, dependence, withdrawal, and profound sedation or respiratory depression when combined with opioids or other CNS depressants.
