Calcium Chloride Injection, USP 10% is a sterile aqueous solution supplied in a Luer-Jet Luer-Lock prefilled syringe for slow intravenous use. Each mL contains calcium chloride 100 mg (1.36 mEq), and each 10 mL single-dose syringe provides 1 g (13.6 mEq) total. No preservative is added. The product is used as a calcium replenisher when rapid intravenous calcium replacement is clinically indicated and may be used in cardiac resuscitation according to the prescribing information.
